4mKathryn StarkeyC twenty. Um, I just wanna say I think here we have another missed opportunity. This is an item that came to us from the sheriff's office. Um, you know, I've been in this neighborhood many times and I'm pretty sure this was uh a house that well, a trailer. that was causing a lot of problems in the neighborhood with drug dealing. I remember being there and there was there was a dog running down the street that had a hypodermic needle stuck in it. Um is
just I'm I'm glad that we were able to um get rid of this resonance. However I think w what we're doing is just possibly allowing for someone to bring in something else and continue that kind of use. This should have gone. to someone like Habitat. Who would have built a a better who would built a home? Some would have got someone into home ownership. and start cleaning up that neighborhood. So I'm I'm not happy that
we did did it like this.

Andrew BaxterThe sheriff would retain the property um and we would have to discuss with them wh how they would like to dispose of that property.
Unidentified speakerVoice ASo we could Andrew.
The only reason that this is before you is the sheriff can't take title to property. So you are you are acting as the agent for the sheriff on one of their on one of the forfeitures. So if I recommendation would be to pro approve staff recommendation. Yeah.
