3mJack MarianoVice ChairAll in favor say aye. Aye. Aye. Thank you. And we'll get that. Okay. Now it's time for the consent agenda. Um So far there's just one poll and it's really just for discussion. Um any other polls to be for the consent agenda?
Sarah GonzalezWhich one did you pull?
Jack MarianoVice ChairUh C twenty seven.
Ron OakleyC
Jack MarianoVice Chairtwenty seven, Chair? Yes. Yeah, it's just one item just for really discussion. So I want to highlight it.
Any other items to be pulled? Can we have a motion for the consent agenda minus C twenty seven?
Unidentified speakerVoice AMove to a burden.
Jack MarianoVice ChairA second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Any opposed? Okay. And C twenty seven?
The reason I pulled the item, I think it's it's a very creative way, very ingenuity to try to save money and resources. So if you would just talk about the program just a little bit as far as the health services with community health.
Unidentified speakerVoice BAbsolutely. So good morning. I'm David Mingle. I'm the uh Deputy Chief of Administration for Pasco County Fire Rescue. First off, thank you all for being such ardent supporters of fire safety. Uh it's because of you that we can offer the services that we do to the community and because of that we've become the premier fire department in the state of Florida. So on behalf of fire administration, thank you all very much. With that being said, what this does is it provides a partnership with Premier Community Healthcare Group. With our mobile integrated health system. So We have
some uh individuals who get uh identified as at-risk clients from our fire safety side. They then go to our mobile integrated health side and we send community paramedics out to those individuals to visit them to find out why they're repeat clients and why they're becoming such a strain on our system. And then those integrated paramedics, they they recognize things like maybe there's a failure to thrive, maybe they need some drug resources. Rehabilitation or other things. And what this partnership does is going to
allow us one more tool for referrals. It will all also allow their clinicians to ride out there with our mobile integrated health care paramedics and to actually do some on-site visit and they can see for themselves what it is that these individuals need. So this is one more tool in the toolbox to help us to create less of a strain on our emergency system. And uh it's gonna be a great benefit for the citizens of Pasco County.
Jack MarianoVice ChairThank you. And Premier has done a great job with us in the county helping those that are uh underserved and I'm and I'm I'm hopeful that maybe some of this even gives them some revenue as well to kinda help them as they run their operation. Kind of offset some of the stuff they do for nothing.
Unidentified speakerVoice BYes, sir.
Jack MarianoVice ChairOkay. Well, I greatly appreciate you guys thinking about this, digging through, and serving our community better. Appreciate all your service. Yes, sir. Thank you. Thank you. Move approved. Second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Okay.
