   53:19Thank you. Well good morning Chair Oakley and Pasco Commissioners and guests. Uh my name is Jean Nappe. I am the uh vice chair. For the Commission on the Status of Women. And I'm here to present our annual work plan update. for Cheryl Public who couldn't be with us um today. She's our chair. Yeah, I believe you're looking at um Our

   53:49presentation um Page one. Um Which is going to review Our year of twenty twenty Um for the for the C S W Um we broke it down into quarters. So we can And a high. Um Our activity in in the first quarter. Uh we actually this was before the COVID hit. We

   54:19were actually able to attend The Pasco Hernandez State College Women's Conference. Uh we we had still we had um Members attend. Um it was A lot of great speakers, women speakers and men. Um we also created the Women's History Month in Suffrage Centennial Resolution. Uh we established our work plan. We

   54:49raise funds to support gender-based violence and domestic violence. And created Um The CSWY how what statements hosted monthly. Hybrid virtual meetings, which we are still doing at this time. Next slide.

   55:11There is our a attendance at the um Empowered conference. And we had a nice table set up with our POM cards that we passed out. Next slide.

   55:26Quarter two, we um appointed some new members.

   55:32Lauren Museli from Pasco EDC, Dr. Ronda Waddell from St. Leo, Leona Schuller from the African American Club of Pasco. And District 5 appointee, Denise Nicholas. We had a nice article that came out in the Florida Women's Magazine. Talking about the CSW and you know that We had some presence in social media. Um Yeah. What kind

   56:03of talking about what we uh What's our f what's our mission and our focus? We presented the CSW and community groups. Chamber and Um coalition events. We raised awareness of Pasco County's challenges and resources relative to domestic violence and sexual assault. Next slide.

   56:31And here is um a recap of the domestic violence arrests and offenses. For twenty twenty.

   56:42Where we um got this information and made it available. Next slide.

   56:51Quarter three, we had uh a guest, Amanda Maggard, CEO and Kristen McCallf. Both from Advent Health. Um Zephyrhills talking about the Simpson Breast Center. And breast cancer awareness month. Celebrated achievements of the women in Pasco by making connections across the community and bridging community resources to educate and inspire women. And served as a champion and reliable

   57:22re resource for women and girls, connecting them to supporting supportive opportunities to help them learn and achieve. Next slide.

   57:36And quarter four. We had um guest speaker Sue Campbell from the Rope Center. Uh Sam Hines from Women's Business Enterprise Council. Nancy Allen, President and CEO of Women's Business Enterprise Council. We also raised awareness of women-owned businesses in Pasco County while working with the Pasco EDC. And the W B E C F We

   58:08started the creation of a directory of women-owned businesses in Pasco County. Which to date right now we have Identified 86 women-owned businesses, and we're we're still gathering uh information there. Uh we established various subcommittees to promote various uh women's initiatives, including but not limited to, County Wide Awareness of Breast Cancer, Awareness Month, Women's History Month. Women's Health

   58:55And it looks like they have a total of 22 on this slide. Next.

   59:02And continuing with quarter four, we hosted my I Bishop Pasco EDC, discuss programs. Focused on entrepreneurship and women-owned business and the Smart Start program. We added the resolution for the women's suffrage centennial. to the December eighth Board County Commissioner's meeting agenda. And we had a socially distance photo. with our uh with our invited women leaders and guests. Updated

   59:33informational rack card, continue to collaborate with local area coalitions, committees, chambers, et cetera. We're continuing the deb domestic violence awareness awareness and human trafficking awareness. Uh supported fundraising efforts of community organizations aligned with CSW mission. Next.

   1:00:15Moving forward in twenty twenty one Uh we are continuing with the hybrid. uh monthly meetings. Uh we've we've arranged it where we're back and forth between Dade City and New Port Richey. So Uh members who live on either side of the county have a uh shorter distance to go every other month. Uh we're continuing to use the workplane template in the packet. Which we have uh there's like fourteen identified um items

   1:00:45in that packet that we're actively working on. Partner with Sunrise Domestic and Sexual Violence Center to raise program funds. Continue to align efforts with existing organizations. Addressing issues important for women and girls. Established an inaugural event to recognize, support, and celebrate the achievement of women and girls. Next.

   1:01:14Also, increase involvement in leadership activities and raise awareness of challenges faced to improve the status of women and girls in our community. Attend Florida Commission on the status of women. LEED Summit. I I know that I'm registered for that and a couple others. Network with peer CSW groups in Florida and collaborate with the statewide commission on the status of women to align efforts. Next.

   1:01:46We have a list of our panel uh members, which is a total of 15. Five from commissioners and ten from appointed um appointed positions from other entities.

   1:02:02We have Cheryl, Jean, Leona, Rosario. Charney, Lauren, Lisa, Rhonda. Next.

   1:02:11Kelly Sin, uh we're s uh actively um speaking with United Way on a Um Representative, we have Jenny, Kelly Teresa and then uh Commissioner Fitzpatrick is working on District Four. And then we have Denise.

   1:02:35And here are our um Appreciation, acknowledgement. um folks with with their logos and uh we we thank everybody and everybody listed there. for the contribution to our commission. And uh we're actively, you know, pursuing 2021.

   1:03:21I I I as you guys can see this committee has been super active in the time of COVID. So I'm really I'm really proud of the work that they're doing. Uh they wanted to have a big um event but we've had to um postpone that until we can have large events again. So look for something like that coming up in the next year. But in the meantime I uh I participate whenever I can um virtually and I uh It's just been um phenomenal what they're doing.

   1:03:51I actually thought that this idea of this um women owned business directory was a really cool idea and I even reached out to one of the owners of Lanky Lassie's in Dade City who make shortbread cookies and ships them all over the country.

   1:05:45Well it's it's already been passed, but it's it's something that's gonna start affecting uh our young girls, young ladies that uh you know, play in college and for scholarships, et cetera.
