Unidentified speakerVoice AHello, Amy Farrell, Budget Director with the Office of Management and Budget. I'm here to present R 48, which is a resolution authorizing the issuance of general obligation bonds, Series 2024 A bonds, for fire rescue projects and improvements in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $9,618,581.30 and authorized. The delegation of authority for certain administrative matters to the county administrator or budget director related to
the issuance of the general obligation bond.
This final tranche of the bonds will assist us with station 19 rehab and expansion, and stations two and four, which are new builds. And just some important dates for you to know, January 18th, we're going to receive our bond ratings. On the 31st of January, we'll have our competitive sale to ensure we get the best possible interest rates in the current markets. And then on the 20th of February we'll be pre-closing and then closing will be right after that.
