2m1/2Kathryn StarkeyVice ChairAre we back to the agenda as to 53 and 55? Yes, sir. All right. So then as to P-53 and P55, P-53 was published in the August 25th, Tampa Bay Times. P55 was published in the September 8th, uh 2021, Tampa Bay Times.
DeniseP53 is PDD 227547. It's a zoning amendment in the name Floyd Filman Groves LLC. It's for a change in zoning from AC Agricultural District to ER2, Estate Residential District. This comes to you with a recommendation of approval from the Planning and Development Department and the Planning Commission.
Ron OakleyChairOkay, is anyone here
Kathryn StarkeyVice Chairto speak against us that? Um we have persons signed up for P53.
Ron OakleyChairOkay. Are you is anyone here that signed up to speak against this item?
Okay. So there's no one signed up and the person here is not speaking against the item. So it stays on consent. Then we move on to
Unidentified speakerVoice Athe next one. Nancy, are you in opposition to the application?
Mike MooreWell you're we don't you don't want no you don't want to speak. We're not in
Unidentified speakerVoice Aopposition and give them an opportunity to speak. We'll pull off

Unidentified speakerVoice Adon't want to speak
Mike Mooreon a against
Ron OakleyChairthe
three off consent.
4m2/2Kathryn StarkeyVice ChairOkay.
Nancy HazelwoodNancy Hazewood [address removed]. I um apologize and to Mr. Hobby too for pulling it off, but to me it was very important to say that this is something that's being done right in the Northeaster area. Going from AG to Estate Residential Two is something that's great. for us and we hope that this continues to be done in this way. It is a bit on the high
end, but that's great. It's kind of in a transition area. Thank you all so much for your courtesy.
Ron OakleyChairOkay, thank you for your comments.
Kathryn StarkeyVice ChairAnd Ms. Costner? Alma Costca.
Unidentified speakerVoice BName and address or just
Ron OakleyChairname and her address, yes.
Unidentified speakerVoice BOkay. My name is Elma Coston. I live at [address removed]. And I have property that's adjacent to it as well. And I definitely approve this subdivision. Two and a half acres are wonderful. In Northeast Pasco, we I've been working on this since Sylvia Young was the county commissioner. That's a long time to turn to go to all these meetings, you know, and I've am trying to protect this area and I think this whole Northeast
Pasco should be two and a half acres or greater because this is a rural area. And that's what we want. We want it to stay rural. And most of the newcoming people are from Tampa because they want to get away from the congestion, the box homes, and they want the freedom to have more land with their homes. And they want to have horses or cattle or whatever. Even them two and a half acres I've seen have cattle on it. So I definitely
Thank you.
Ron OakleyChairThank you for your comments.
Kathryn StarkeyVice ChairMr. Chairman M. Um I did in in looking at the um restrictions I did see there is a preservation right away being um put in here for blanching. Is that correct? Um I I just wanna remind everyone of the time and expense we went to to have I think was easy comm uh do a um plan for the that area for bike trails for bike routes and that blant is really probably
the number one road that we use for cycle tourism out there and um make sure that we're reserving enough width to be able to put one day those safety shoulders on some of those routes out there so that Cars and trucks can pass each other safely along with the cyclists because we've had a lot of accidents and deaths in that area. So I do think it's in here. Um that they have the width. I just wanna make sure that number is the right number. Yeah. It's in there that would
have to be on the
Ron OakleyChairpreserving right of way.
Unidentified speakerVoice BYeah.
Ron OakleyChairOkay. That would have to be on forty one on this property, right? County road forty one. Yeah, County Road forty one. Well they go up which is an arterial road.
Kathryn StarkeyVice ChairBut they go up Landon to I don't
Ron OakleyChairknow the route. Oh
Kathryn StarkeyVice Chairit is
Ron OakleyChairokay. 'Cause
Kathryn StarkeyVice Chairwe've identified the A, B, and C routes up there
Ron OakleyChairYeah, this this property sits on Platte Road and and Fort County Road 41.
