Kathryn StarkeyAnd I have a very quick question on this one too. And I don't remember if I asked it when I had my meeting with this up. And uh you don't have to do the whole presentation. I just wanted to ask the applicant. I don't think they're doing are they doing rear loaded
Gavin CoveyIt is not in the deed restriction. This is a Euclidean rezoning, uh so we don't get too in depth with that at at this point.
Kathryn StarkeySo if the backyards are facing Clinton, are we putting a fence or a wall?
'Cause I don't think we want the back yards exposed to Clinton. That's my guess.
WhatThank you, Shelley Johnson, [address removed] and I have been sworn. Um we'll d the conditions will require what we do, whatever the landscaping code requires along that right-of-way, but if there's a request that we put up a wall or a fence, I don't think that the applicant has an issue with that at all.
Kathryn StarkeyWell, Commissioner, this is your district, you know it better than me, but don't do you think there should be a masonry wall? If it's rear if it's not
Ron OakleyChairshould
Kathryn StarkeyFront loop here.
Ron OakleyChairI'm looking at a different picture. They had the old picture up now. Where is this located on Clinton?
WhatClinton Avenue.
Ron OakleyChairOh it's uh across from the Waller property?
WhatYeah. The Waller
Ron OakleyChairproperty.
WhatYep, exactly. It's right across there.
Ron OakleyChairSo the back side of that is against homes on the back side. There's a buffer back there.
WhatYeah.
Ron OakleyChairHow much buffer?
WhatUm, I don't know what the natural buffer is but it'll be if it's residential back there it'll be what, ten foot or do you have to do buffer to residential to residential? I guess you don't even have to buffer residential to residential. um they'll be doing whatever the landscape code requires.
Ron OakleyChairDo these houses back up to Clinton?
WhatThey'll the frontage is on Clinton. That's the insurance is off of Clinton, yeah. They'll be pulling the that's where the front of the property will
Ron OakleyChairbe.
WhatWell
Kathryn Starkeyokay, I think that we sits up you can say maybe if if they're f if the houses are rear loaded and the fronts are on Clinton, there does not need to be a fence. If that the houses are front loaded and the rears are on Clinton, I feel like there should be a masonry wall, not a PVC fence. A decorative masonry wall. Of some sort. With the landscape.
Seth WeightmanI I agree with Commissioner Starkey on that, Mr.
Ron OakleyChairOkay, let's hear what uh
WhatYeah, he was saying that all of the ones on Clinton will be facing the road. So they're rear loaded.
Kathryn StarkeyOkay, well then that's fine. It's great. Right on the trail. That answers it. The kids can have lemonade stands, make a lot of money.
Ron OakleyChairThe houses will be But there'll be no the entry for these houses will be in the rear, right?
WhatYes, that the front the on Clinton Avenue those will be all rear loads because it'll the front the front of the houses will be the front of the town homes will be facing Clinton.
Kathryn StarkeyAnd
Whatthat'll
Kathryn Starkeythat'll look very nice. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I just didn't ask that question when I was with you guys.
Ron OakleyChairAnd it's public hearing uh public hearing so is anyone that wishes to speak against this or for this? Not necessarily for it, but against it.
Kathryn StarkeyI have no one signed up for P fifty one and no one on Webex.
Ron OakleyChairOkay.
