55:50Resolution number twenty one-one seven two, a resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, declaring the third week of May as Water Reuse Week in Pasco County and calling upon citizens and businesses to help protect our precious water resources by practicing water saving measures and using reclaimed water in an efficient and effective manner. Whereas safe, clean and sustainable water resources are essential to Pasco County's environment, economy, citizens and visitors. And RAS, although Pasco County has a limited supply of fresh

56:20water in our lakes, rivers, and underground aquifers, the county's population and need for water resources continues to increase.

56:35Hundred seventy three and four hundred and three. Florida statutes. ANRAS reuse water is purified using science-based standards to meet science to meet specific needs, including environmental restoration, irrigation, industrial operations, and energy generation. It also helps to ensure a reliable supply of potable water during times of extreme drought.

57:01In water reuse, reusing 820 million gallons of reclaimed water per day to conserve freshwater supplies and replenish our rivers, streams, lakes, and aquifers. And whereas Florida's permitted reuse capacity is more than 1.7 billion gallons per day, representing approximately 67% of Florida's total permitted capacity for all domestic wastewater. treatment facilities and Ras Pasco County has implemented a dynamic reclaimed water program which encourages

57:31safe, efficient, and effective use of reclaimed water. And whereas Pasco County treats wastewater to Uh sorry, treats treats wastewater to public access standards, stores more than seven hundred and twelve million gallons at two reservoirs and eleven tanks, and delivers approximately twenty-five million gallons per day of high quality reclaimed water to forty-one thousand two hundred residents in a variety of other customers and locations. What goes on with reuse, uh, our neighboring counties that To our south. haven't had that privilege of being able to use that water like we do uh for watering a yards and they're having to use potable water because they can't go back in and pipe back in through the cities and use that water in a good way.

59:01We've been very fortunate in our growth that happening at a time when this was all available to us and we were able to uh make this happen in our county, which is um Very much a plus and um uh takes care of a lot of reclaimed water that we wouldn't have a way to get rid of it otherwise otherwise.
