Towing vehicles.
R eighty seven. Um at your last uh last board meeting I was asked to revise the towing Fee structure resolution. Um to add the ability to do a uh surcharge for diesel fuel. Um you'll find there's an on page four of five of the resolution there's a new five Anytime the price of diesel fuel exceeds
$3 per gallon is reported by the federal government for the lower Atlantic states, and then it's got a designation of PADD1C. Uh the mileage rate for the subject of the resolution may be increased or decreased in the following manner.
The little chart there for percentages of change uh have been included in the resolution. I believe that accomplishes what the board's desire was. I'm
sure.
Yep.
I mean hopefully I think everyone was okay with this last time and thank you to the county attorney's office and Pascoisner and your team for looking at this through. We just want to make sure that um we still have these uh trucks on the road and taking care of the citizens and and um as we know, fuel prices have been up. Everybody else is unfortunately having to raise their prices, they were kind of stuck and Yeah, possibly losing money. But we're gonna make sure they're there. So I'll make a motion to approve.
Second little discussion. More discussion? Just a quick discussion. You know, um you know we talked about cleanup after the some of the accidents that go on, and I'll say that uh somehow we need to see if there's a way to better follow up with them. There was an accident I think by Crane's roost on Little Road, and in front of it there's really looks like the lower side of a front end of a car sitting on the grass where there was like So as we do help these guys make their money, we I think we need to try to like follow up a little bit to make sure they're doing
a full cleanup rather than leaving stuff to the side of the road. Yeah, it's probably a good
discussion that that the team can have, I would assume, right? It happens every so whoever's in charge of that.
Yeah, we uh we changed the ordinance to to make that more clear that they had a response. responsibility to to do that. So they're they're they probably I think the issue is identifying which tow company had the scene. But but clearly that there you did tighten things up. Uh
maybe we can get a letter sent out from the team from the team as a reminder and refer to the ordinance. Yeah. Did that work commissioner? No.
And whose responsibility is it to clean up the traffic area? What i I mean, it's a good idea. The tow
the tow company that that's all in.
Okay. Um We I called the boat, right? Okay. All in favor? Aye. Aye. Aye. Opposed? Done. You're uh we did P eighty eight eight, so we are on P eighty nine.
