Good afternoon, Madam Chairman Members of the Board. Eric Breitenbach, Assistant County Administrator for Internal Services. Item P92 is a petition to vacate a portion of Plattock Canal right of way. The petitioner seeks to obtain this vacation in order to repair the eroding seawall due to safety concerns. There were no objections, and we recommend approval.

Um so I went out I went out to the site to take a look at it and actually met the owner. Um I I support what we're doing here, but I'd like to have us take an extra step as well. He's looking at putting a seawall all the way down, kind of straightening it out and making it look better. He's gonna probably do the front of the property as well. So it's a major investment. At the portion of Where he's not going to own us, where we have our property. where the roadway comes off and we have a drainage part right there. Right now we just have a simple block set up there that's very fragile. And I think when he does his seawall

we should incorporate in doing an improvement at the same time and and fixing our seawall at the at the same time. Well secure the drinks, because right now you get a little bit of erosion around the pipe as well. So it'd be a good time to when he gets ready to go do his project that we incorporate. and and get the extra work done to everything. By not having any mobilization or anything else, it should be very inexpensive to get it done and it will really improve the neighborhood.

Eric Breitenbach

Got it sir. I'll coordinate with my colleague Bradford Brantford to to work those details. Okay. Sir. Thank you.

Kathryn StarkeyChair
