Aye. Okay, so let's go to P sixty. Full presentation, please. Okay. Sure.

Denise

Absolutely. Or do you want to just have the applicant answer the questions perhaps?

Okay. And then also

Starkey

between Chansey and 56.

Denise

Sure. And I also have transportation folks online who will certainly be able to answer those questions if you could perhaps promote those? Okay.

Ms. Wellheit, did you want to do a presentation on that or do you want to Okay. So we'll We're promoting some transportation folks who should answer those questions.

Starkey

And I'm not saying it's the responsibility of these guys to figure out the kind of connectivity. I'm just asking what my staff is doing to make sure we do connect so people aren't having to drive miles to get the right-of-way.

Denise

I I did see earlier on that there are at least three transportation folks online. So I'm not sure who would like to tackle that question.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

Good afternoon, this is Fancy Burgess Transportation Access. So usually in the site plans we usually ask for cross access. So right now we probably haven't gotten to that point. But once we get to the site plan we usually ask for some type of connectivity. So I will make a note to that so when we reach that project at the site plan level we'll go ahead and and uh look at the connectivity.

Starkey

Yeah, that's not my my question's bigger than that. My question is what is the plan for that area for connectivity, not just this corner.

OakleyVice Chair

So it it thank you uh Mr Chairman. Um the as I recall two rivers. Uh I believe the connection between State Road fifty six and Chansey is via Coates Road, which is to the east. Coates Road. Which is a I would think is about a block or two east of this site.

Starkey

So there's only one road that will go north-south from all Between Chansey and two rivers?

OakleyVice Chair

Uh well in this particular sector it's it's Coates Road, if I'm not mistaken.

Starkey

So and where where is the school? Is it uh

OakleyVice Chair

on

Starkey

Coast N fifty six?

OakleyVice Chair

Yes. And the park site is along those areas as well.

Starkey

So as all this comes in, maybe we have the ability to put in a trail or something that gets, you know, we have a vision for some kind of connectivity so kids can safely get to school without having to go out in a bus or have someone drive them. around and to so to be able to go east west on let's say the southern boundary of this apartment complex maybe begins the

conversation. I just I just hope you have a grid plan or something, that's all. For mobility.

OakleyVice Chair

Yeah, and and I and I believe Two Rivers uh handles that for its portions of the road segments that we're talking about. Yeah, I

Starkey

just don't know what it is once you get past the two rivers border. And all that's gonna fill in and just be good if we had a plan of how kids, you know

OakleyVice Chair

Sure. I I know that's a on on the trails plan it does have an east west movement on trails have east west movement on fifty six and and on Chansey. So we could definitely took a take a look at um Coates Road.

Starkey

Because that that was mind me if you remember when they put the schools on the north side of fifty six, which I thought was a bad idea, but I think they moved the elementary school off of that. Um I always thought they should be south because everyone is now gonna have to be bust 'cause you can't 'cause it's not safe kids to cross state road fifty six. But they said oh no we're gonna put it on the north side of fifty six and all All those people to the north are gonna go to that that high school. Well, we've gotta make sure they have ways to get there besides one

road. Because we've seen that what what that does like River Ridge and other high schools. So that's I'm just hoping you have to plan it. I'm not against this resilience.

MarianoChair

Okay. Any other questions for staff?

Starkey

That was mine.

MarianoChair

We have a motion to approve.

Starkey

Second.

MarianoChair

No, do we have one?

Okay, we have a motion to approve. Do we have a second?

Unidentified speakerVoice B

Second.

MarianoChair

Okay. And roll call vote?

Starkey

District One, Commissioner Oakley. Aye. District two, Commissioner Weightman.

District three, Commissioner Starkey.

Starkey

Well well let me ask if it does prove out that the bottom part of this piece of property

Unidentified speakerVoice B

don't we gotta finish the vote first?

Starkey

No, I'm not gonna start under discussion, right? Um

Unidentified speakerVoice C

you're not under discussion, you're in the middle of the vote.

Starkey

Well then I'm not gonna I'm gonna I wanna ask my question. Because this is zoning, not comp land, so this has to be addressed here. If we do want some kind of trail going along the bottom, this is

Unidentified speakerVoice C

Euclidean zoning and you can't condition it.

Starkey

Oh right, well then yes.

Unidentified speakerVoice C

Good

Starkey

try. District 4, Commissioner Bradford.

MarianoChair

Yes.

Starkey

District 5, Chairman Mariano.
