OakleyChair

So we're on thirty five of 'em. And then we jump back.

Reagan Weiss

still. Doc, how are you still younger and I'm getting older? I don't understand this. Hi everyone, my name is Reagan Weiss. I am the founder of Hub Life Charities. And once again, we had a very successful Hub Hoween this year. It's been a phenomenal collaboration with Parks and Recreation and Natural Resources. And once again, we were able to raise $25,043.43 for the county and for parks and recreation natural resources to see where that money's gonna go. I will tell you, um, broken backs, broken toes, cars broken

down, uh things happen, but it's a it's a great event, and the smiles on the kids' faces during Hubbaween has been absolutely fantastic. So I want to get off this. I want to give it over to Marcia Alfredo. She is our Madam President of Hub Life Charities. Okay.

Marcia

Reagan. He does a good job at saying my last name.

As Reagan said, my name is Marcia. I'm the president of Hub Life Charities and it's just an honor for me to be a part of such an organization and to be able to serve my county. I've lived here for over twenty years and it is my home. And um to be able to work with people of the caliber of Mark and Christina and our over two hundred volunteers that we had. Um our Hubboin is our biggest fundraiser that we do and we

sometimes we wonder why do we do it? Why do we do it? And this is why we do it, so that we're able to give back to our community. So we want to thank you all for our the support that you give us, the community that uh the support that they give us and we're gonna keep doing it as long as we're allowed. So thank you so much.

OakleyChair

Thank you.

Marcia

Yeah.

OakleyChair

Don't be shy.

Rob Mahler, Superintendent for the Parks and Trails. We are very appreciative of the partnership with uh Hub. They uh they do a ton of work. We we obviously are familiar with the amount of efforts that go in for events and the amount of labor and resources that they put forth to make this thing happen. Um You know, Reagan alluded to the experiences and memories that these citizens are being able to make. Uh beyond that, when they make this contribution, we have scholarships that we're able to give out for our summer day camp programs, for aquatics, for swim lessons,

things like that. So uh beyond the day of the event, the uh efforts that are going forth are making making differences throughout the year. So we greatly appreciate the their efforts and uh partnership.

OakleyChair

I noticed Keith ran up here when he heard there was a check, I think.

Keith

Honestly sir, I just wanted to make sure Rob didn't get me in trouble saying anything in front of you. Okay.

Starkey

Well I I am just very grateful for your efforts. Um You know, uh as I've said many times, our our Parks Department after the twenty two thousand eight recession It just took a h huge hit and we're still climbing out of that hole. And so every penny that you raise there is really appreciated and goes to a a wonderful use and we're very grateful for sure.

OakleyChair

Mr. Mariano.

Mariano

Yeah, I'd like to thank Habween as well. Um you you your group does a phenomenal job and and I want to thank our parks department who worked closely with you to see the benefit of this for all those citizens that maybe can't afford a day camp now will get that opportunity. So definitely helping the community out. So we greatly appreciate it.

OakleyChair

Yeah, thank you. All that you do. This this'll go a long way in the parks 'cause Uh huh. Seems like Wiley's always got his hand out 'cause he has our his job's never done 'cause he's always building for the future and we keep bringing people in and he keeps building out. So It all it's uh Very much so that we all work together and have the stone and appreciate so much that what y'all are doing.
