Item P 57 is PDE 250124. This is an ordinance amending the Pasco County Ordinance No. 21-18, expanding the boundaries of the Conerton East Community Development District pursuant to Chapter 190, Florida statutes, providing for miscellaneous provisions, providing for an effective date. This comes to you with the recommendation to adopt the ordinance by roll call vote.
Um Terry, can you uh put the map up please? 'Cause I wanna discuss what I was texting there too.
And um Yeah. I I have a couple of questions on Connerton.
Well Madam Chairman M Remember if it's um has it in my district, but that counter turn I believe would be in district two.
That's correct. District two.
Okay, so we'll need to address that as well. Maybe maybe a note. In the motion. So
Uh well what I asked you about was where where is the orange belt trail shown on this? Yeah.
The It it I hope that comes after the Callier Parkway extension. Through this project, right, Mike? Seems like pretty logical, but
Well this is a map of the C D D boundaries.
I know, but we're expanding it, right? Over here on a along a errand cutoff? Um is is that hatched area, the expansion?
Yes.
Isn't that a long errand cutoff?
That's on the that would be on the east side of Aaron Cutoff.
Okay, so where is the Orange Belt Trail along Aaron Cut? The Orange Belt Trail is coming up Aaron Cutoff. So what I'm asking is where is it on this map? So I know that we've protected that that very important piece of land. I don't know if it's on the east side or the west side.
It is I I mean I I don't know. I was gonna Brantford, you have Panos running from engineering services. I know they're doing the feasibility study for it.
Hello, members of the board. Panos Contex, Assistant Account Engineer. As uh you approved earlier, uh there is uh a route study going uh it's going to be for Collier Parkway extension. that uh stud is gonna consider the location. What's that got
to do with this?
Color parkway extension is gonna follow in alignment either over the air and cutoff or parallel to airlock air and cutoff. And it's gonna be a multi lane uh roadway which is gonna have also the available right of way for uh the Orange Bell Trail. So at this time we don't know which side is gonna go, but it's going to be on uh most likely on the extension of Collier Parkway.
Well, how does that work when we're going through the park there? The trail goes through Cypress Creek. I d I don't know that area real well so I mean the route goes through from Aaron Cutoff through the park and up to Central Pasco employment. Right?
That's one of the alignments, yes. Uh you are talking about the Wellfield the Yes. Yes, that's one of the alignments. Right now, I've never seen the other alignments, so I right now there is a P D and E study going on for the Orange Bell Trail, which they're gonna come the consultant and the study team is gonna come in front of you to present the alignments and the alternatives for your approval. Of the recommended alignment, that's not happened yet, so that's probably gonna be happening within the next four to five months. So the the RAD study, which
we will be doing, will adopt whatever recommendation is from the PDE study.
Um Can you show me what colour park? park is on that? Because I
Yeah. I
I think, Madam Chair, if you guys show you The Chair where the the Carrier Parkway extension the right way is on the south, both segments of the south Peace and the north. Run. That I think would be a helpful visual.
So that's gonna catch up with Aaron cutoff.
So there's Is that
right?
Yes. So there's two segments of the Collier Parkway extension. There's a south piece and then the north piece, which we approved the study today from parkway north to fifty-two. So I wish they had a map that it would show that run and it pop out right at Aaron Call for Due. So essentially Cutting you would be able to get into the well fields. As you're going to do.
I just need to see it here before
I'm going to be able to do that
And is Rebecca here who's in charge of all of this? Okay. So where's call your
see the dotted black and white dotted line chair? So the the north extension.
This is It's going
right through Conerton?
So this is the Collier Parkway extension. That's the Data Line. It's a vision road on the map. And then Out here is Aaron cutoff. That's the solid black line. Right around this location. uh about this area I can't see very well from where I'm at. Right around right around here, the two roads come very closely together. And there's a likely possibility, I which is what Panelus was referring to. that rather than having uh one vi one vision road or two vision roads rather in the same location that one big road take
place In this zone here, all the way up to fifty two.
The trail cuts through the park. Um What
shift?
Where does That's
right.
The trail cuts into the park well below the shooting range. Oh Chair. So Because You don't want 'em
the pork, so Terry? We've had
So what you're recalling as the parking lot. Oh you're tall and cutting there, but
the trail cut is on Pump Station Road. Okay, so
so the park the
far south
So you're not referring to the previous what was going to be a park in Conerton that got swapped to go to a different location?
I don't I don't know anything about what's going on in Conerton. That's my next question. Right. Um but if you if you would go south move this map
Madam Chairman Mariano, if I can. This is a C D D expansion, which is a financial financing expansion. Okay, I didn't realize it
was C D which
is not gonna approve any additional development for Conerton that they already don't have.
Okay, but just so you guys know, it it comes in Over here on Pumps somewhere here on Pump Station Road. Might think that's where it is. All right, um so I do have a question on on Connerton that but we'll but I do want to meet with you on that. I didn't know anything about the call you park way. Um Where is the downtown of Conerton?
It's supposed to be like the downtown Atlanta Lakes. What
Well I got a little bit.
It is coming eventually.
Mm-hmm. Public comment? Okay. Thanks.
Some more that little pie that just the southern part there?
It's hard to see. Um but Yeah, so the downtown Conerton is generally in this location here. There's some activity uh planned for this area as well. So it's generally in this location.
Okay, so it's it's not a walkable T and D uh that it was gonna be t downtown.
It is, it's just in two different areas.
Okay.
All right. This is a public Hearing does anyone speak to the C D D expansion boundary? Okay, seeing no one.
No approval. Second.
All in favor?
It's aye. Oh I'm sorry, does it Oh.
Right, District One, Commissioner Oakley. Aye. District two, Commissioner Weightman. Aye. District four, Commissioner Yeager. Aye. District five, Commissioner Mariano. Aye. District three, Chairman Starkey. Aye.
