Yes.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Mr. Waiton.

Seth WeightmanSecond Vice Chair

Thank you. No, I just I pulled this one because it said uh not to exceed budget amount of twenty percent. And I don't know if Car Mike Karbala or whom I don't know who wants to to speak to this, but it's two essentially a two hundred and eighty million dollar project on consent uh when digging into it. So I just pulled it based on the the dollar amount and then the twenty percent contingency. So aside from that I don't have an issue just Mm-hmm. Fire away. So I think

Mike Carballa

I I think what we would like to do is so the twenty percent has just been kind of a general rule of thumb that staff have used uh to allow for negotiating room. Typically when we started doing this practice probably about five years ago, they were more for consulting type contracts, not necessarily design build. So I am perfectly fine. Twenty percent of of a two hundred and eighty million dollar project is probably a lot. It is a lot. So, you know, if we can reduce that to have some wiggle room in terms of negotiation to say five

percent, I think that would be great. I I'll that'll

Seth WeightmanSecond Vice Chair

be my my motion with the county administrator's recommendation for approval.
