And whereas Feeding Pasco's Elderly Inc. continues to serve as a vital partner to the Pasco County Senior Services Department by raising funds to fight food insecurity among seniors,
including hosting annual fundraising events such as the May 2025 Breakfast Fundraiser, during which a refrigerator, air fryer, and a microwave were gifted to three clients in attendance. And whereas Feeding Pasco's Elderly applies annually for United Way Grant funding, which combined with community donations, allows the organization organization to remove seniors from the Meals on Wheels food insecure list and
provide meals to those most in need. And whereas, through the generosity of the community and the dedication of the Board of Directors, Feeding Pasco's Elderly Inc. currently supports 40 clients with an additional 20 clients with United Weight Grant funds, expanding access to essential nutrition services. And whereas in November 2025, Beating Pasco's Elderly Inc. provided 310 gift cards totaling $31,000
to individuals on the Meals on Wheels food insecure list who were receiving food stamps during the potential SNAP benefits crisis, offering immediate relief to vulnerable seniors. And whereas during fiscal 2025, Feeding Pasco's Elderly Inc. served 186 clients with 8,919 meals using its funds, and 65 clients with 4,023 meals using United Way funds for
a total number of two hundred and fifty one clients and twelve thousand nine hundred and forty two meals. Whereas during the fiscal year 2025, feeding Pasco elderly Served eighteen hundred thirty nine unduplicated clients and provided nine hundred and one meals to individuals on the Meals on Wheels food insecure list, demonstrating a long standing and unwavering commitment to improving the quality
of life for the elderly citizens of Pasco County.
