Consent agenda and C14 pull and revise
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.
The source document
The county’s agenda for Board of County Commissioners, Mar 26, 2024
The published PDF. Its text could not be extracted — it is an image-only scan — so nothing in it is searchable here, but it reads normally.
The county’s minutes for Board of County Commissioners, Mar 26, 2024
The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.
What was said
Machine transcription of 3m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 75% of 20 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
Uh next order bills will be the consent agenda. I have a poll sheet. Um C 14, pull and revise. C thirty-two is withdrawn, and C21 is withdrawn. Are there any other changes to the consent agenda? Mr. Chairman,
if I could get a motion for you to add to the consent agenda RS1, RS2, RS3, RS4, RS5, and RS6. So moved. Second. All in favor say aye.
Aye. aye so then
before the board meeting okay
thank you Yeah. All in favor say aye.
Aye.
We get that.
We need a motion to I need a motion
for
that
sorry.
Move I'll move approval to I'll approve a consent agenda as amended. With the noted items from the right-of-way. Okay. Okay.
All in favor say aye. Aye. Any opposed? Okay.
So the next item we have is R thirty seven. C fourteen. Oops sorry, C fourteen, sorry.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman for the record JP Murphy, uh Building Construction Services Director. The uh poll and revise for you was uh do the diligent work. The clerks department noted that the memo reflected a five-year term. We are just revising it to reflect the actual term of the contract of three plus one plus one for our view specs video inspection services.
And I want to say I I wanted to pull this item as Mr. Carbello and I talked about it yesterday because I think it is such a great project. See great to see more life being put into it. Uh for those who don't know, VueSpecs allows a remote inspector to zoom, take pictures and video, capture geolocation data, comment, interact with a contractor, and post the result of inspection simultaneously in the Acceler application. VueSpecs has now alive and offline capabilities. The USPEX office scheduling for over seventy inspection types, though mechanical.
In electrical are the most popular, many are eligible. Inspections can be conducted, scheduled and conducted on the same day, generally within a few minutes of contacting the inspector. A perfect c use case is an equal equal change out of AC, a half-day job executing the same day service call for the contractor, rather than waiting a day for inspection, they can call in for the view specs and close out a permit. Quick permanent view spec inspection is a one-two punch for a job like this. It saves homeowners from reschedule scheduling and multiple days off, and view
specs cost nothing to the owner contractor. It's great technology. Uh I saw it when it was first coming on board. With my assistants, we're kind of watching one of the uh inspectors do five inspections in about a twenty minute period of time as things were going on. So I'm glad to see JJ that you're bringing this forward. Uh and we got a a new contract for longer term.
Yep. Second.
All in favor say aye. Aye. All right. Thank you.
