Call to order pledge and roll call
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.
The source document

The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.
What was said

Okay.
So I'd like to welcome everybody here today. And um for those of uh you who haven't been here before, we are the planning commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice a month. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special
exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests. And certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Um, so if there's something happens today that you don't like, you can always appeal it to the board. Uh if anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, land development code amendment. or uh any item where the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend
that uh the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. For those of you who aren't uh familiar with the format of the of the meetings, uh there are three sections and normally there are continuances. consent and regular items. Continuances are items where the staff or the applicant has requested a continuance for any number of reasons. It's been our custom to grant those unless unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Uh consent s consent items. We'll read that read those one at a time. If you hear a consent item that uh You want to have taken from consent or something. They go on to the regular items. Please raise your hand when we bring it up and we'll pull it from consent. Otherwise it stays on consent. and it'll be approved all in one vote, whatever w whatever ones we have on consent. Then there are the regular items and those are the r the items that will be fully
vetted today. There'll be uh uh applications presented and Everybody that has a question, that wants to ask a question, will have a chance to come up and and state your concerns. And then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back and answer some of those questions. So uh applicants will have um five minutes to make their presentation and the questioners will have three minutes to
come up and ask questions. We have a a timer when you hear the second buzzer buzzer you'll know that your your time is up. I don't think we've had any requests for additional time, have we? No. Okay.
All right.
