Good morning everyone. I would like to call to order the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners at 10 a.m. Uh December seventh, two thousand twenty one. At this time, please silence all uh electronic devices and mute your microphones. Before we stand for the invocation of the pledge, I would like us all to remember that this very day is the eightieth anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese,
in which later that da that same day we Went to war with Japan and that's how we entered the Second World War. So let's remember those veterans gate paid the ultimate sacrifice. At that day it was over three thousand of them that Check that. um time that they they got killed in that battle. And that actually started World War Two for the United States. And we'd like to thank and and Also show
our um support for all of our EMS, our police, our sheriff's office. and all of our veterans and armed service personnel at the same time. So with that, let's stand for the invocation and pledge of allegiance.
O merciful Creator, your hand is open wide to satisfy the needs of every living creature. Make us thankful for your loving providence and grant that we, remembering the account that we must one day give, may be faithful stewards of your good gifts. Amen.
