This is my business partner and chairman of Hub Life Charities, uh Joey Deeb. It's another glorious day in Pasco County. And I would just like to say we are very grateful for this event and we are very grateful for the collaboration efforts between private business and public. We would like to recognize two individuals right away: Mark Berlinger. Mark, please raise your hand. And Christina Gordon. Guys,

1:35:38give them a round of applause. Of parks and recreation because it was an absolute pleasure working with them with their support and their work ethic is absolutely amazing. This hubbaween is in memory of Angela Fagan of Parks and Recreation. Uh we lost her this year. She was a great advocate for this event. And it was an honor to work with her. And our condolences go out to her and her family and her coworkers.

1:36:03This event was an enormous undertaking. Ideas are great, but you need to have a right team of people to make it happen. These people you see here behind me and next to me are what made it happen. Businesses came together in order to raise over $56,000 for a two-day event. Thousands of cars, over 6,000 people. It was an absolute sight to see. It tugged on our hearts when we received private messages. that families um with wheel wheelchair bound children were able to come to their first scary event for Halloween.

1:36:34Guys, it's been truly amazing. We're grateful for all of you. We truly are grateful for the collaboration event. We're we're grateful for you allowing us to use uh parks and recreation in JB Starkey Park. Um it's just it's so amazing to see, and everyone here can attest that when you see these kids come through, and I know you I know Joey can say it too: I have this mask on, these people have masks on, and you see the smiles in your face and sometimes the fear. And uh they just it just it's uh such a great, great feeling to know that we are all making memories and core memories for

1:37:04these kids for years and years to come and they're always gonna remember mom and dad, remember going to G B Starkey Park, remember that and how much fun it was? And then they're gonna do that for their kids and we hopefully we pass on that generation. So after the $56,000 is raised and expenses and so forth, we have two charities involved. We have Hub Life Charities, which we split right down the middle as we promised from day one. So after proceeds and everything came to, we have a $20,000 check to give to the Board of County Commissioners for you to use for uh Pasco County Natural Resources for children's scholarships

1:37:35and um Chris Wins scholarships, et cetera. So we thank you, we're grateful for all of you. Thank you. Excellent.

1:37:49Madam Chair, I just wanted to say something. I'd I would be remiss if I didn't. Yeah, no problem. So Keith Wiley, Director of Parks Recreation, Natural Resources. This is just an awesome example of how we get stuff done at the end of the day through through partnerships.

1:38:08Or a a project of this scale and a special event of this scale is not easy to pull off, right, Dijal? Seriously. It's a lot of work. And it's been a lot of work for the parks team. So to have a partner that's willing to continue to provide this program to the to the community is just awesome. So thank you, everyone. I really appreciate it.

1:38:23And it and it's so nice that they did it in memory of Angela, who I I so much enjoyed working on the uh uh lectures on the lawn with. That yeah, that's a Big loss for everybody. So um let's come down take a photo.
