What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Ron OakleyChair

Okay. We've got to end our

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

meeting.

Ron OakleyChair

Thank you. Thank you for your

Mr. Kavala, you have direction?

Mike Carballa

Think we're good. Uh accessory dwelling units. We'll uh get back to you where the linkage speech study is gonna be in terms of time.

Ron OakleyChair

How how much time you need to come back to us?

Mike Carballa

I'll have to defer to the team here. I haven't seen the information. How much time for linkage fee study? ADUs we can begin immediately, I suppose. That's a land development code change.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

I say ADUs we probably could bring back to you in the next six months or less. Yeah. It's a fairly easy change. Re that's ready to go? I mean it's ready to go. I'm just saying that it's not difficult to prepare and get to you get through this process.

Mike Carballa

It's just the process.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

But any land development code amendment needs to go through at least three public hearing, so there there's there's a little bit of time associated with that. Okay.

Jack Mariano

Mr. Chairman M just if they could too as far as the subdividing of properties to make that easier. And then as far as if we have an existing NATO that doesn't have an HOA or prohibits rules. about doing duplexes in residential areas that we should take a look at allowing those to to come back to us as well.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

Look at that at the same time. We can but I as I mentioned earlier, duplexes and quadruplexes are different animals. A little more difficult than ADUs, only because not not every lot in the county is appropriate for a duplex or a quadruplex.

Ron OakleyChair

Possibly just give us an answer

Unidentified speakerVoice A

toward that. But

Ron OakleyChair

there are many that are.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

Okay. Because of quadruplexes and duplexes. All right. We're
