What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

What was said

Transcript

Machine transcription of 4m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 96% of 23 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.

And we have no minutes to approve.

So I'd like to welcome everybody today. This is the Planning Commissioner Weightman Twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on the compre comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments. Rezonings and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions. certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, Final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners.

If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, Land Development Code Amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. It's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meetings. For those of you who are not familiar with the format of our meetings, uh I'll go over them to you with you briefly. Uh we have continuances in some cases uh where the staff or the applicant Ask for a continuance

for many could be any number of reasons. It's been our tradition to grant those unless there's extend extenuating circumstances. Uh we have a consent agenda. And that's a the uh agenda wherein all the items that we'll go over are On consent, we haven't had any objection from anybody in the public or from the staff. And um We'll go through those item by item. on the consent agenda that you'd like to have discussed today. As I read it off,

raise your hand or pull it and we'll Hold it for discussion with the regular items, which are the items that are not on consent. So applicants will have three minutes to make a presentation. Uh the questioners will have three minutes. uh to ask their questions and the applicant will have an opportunity to come back and respond to any questions. Um I don't think anybody has asked for additional time today. Correct. So uh We won't go there. Um

This is a good time to silence your phones. If you have a phone in your pocket Uh I probably ought to do that myself.

There we go.
