Resolution Resolution number 25-043. A resolution by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, recognizing Pasco County Fire Rescue for its 50 years of outstanding service to the citizens of Pasco County. Whereas the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners is proud to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pasco County Fire Rescue and to honor its past and present firefighting members for more than 50 years of fire protection to the citizens of Pasco County. And whereas the Pasco County

Fire Rescue Department was initially formed as Pasco County Emergency Services, with the name changing in 1975. When the agency became a career fire department. And whereas fire departments are an integral part of community protection services in every locality of Florida, and during the last 50 years, the courageous and devoted firefighters of Pasco County Fire Rescue have valiantly responded to all types of fire and medical emergencies and have earned the praise and respect

of the community in which Yeah. And whereas Pasco County Fire Rescue has over 750 firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics who, for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year for the last 50 years have gone to the aid of our citizens during times of extreme distress. And whereas the brave and courageous firefighters of Pasco County Fire Rescue are prepared to risk their lives. Daily to help save the lives of others and to protect homes and

property from the destruction caused by fire, flood, medical emergencies, and natural and man-made disasters. And whereas the Board of County Commissioners cannot express sufficient gratitude to these dedicated first responders who recognize that the preservation of life and property is a sacred responsibility and who make that responsibility their own by serving as firefighters. And whereas we should give special recognition to those who work so assiduously for the betterment of their communities

and acknowledge the heroic good works performed by the members of Pasco County Fire Rescue. Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, that said board hereby expresses its deepest appreciation to Pasco County Fire Rescue for its 50 years of dedicated service to the citizens and visitors of Pasco County, done and resolved in regular session with a quorum present in voting this 12th day of November, 2024.
