The funding comes from a number of sources, and we have a lot of partners, the counties, the DEP, others, so it really is a joint effort among a lot of folks.

Pasco.
The parks department was tasked with managing basically all trail systems that fall outside of the right-of-way. So you know, basically your standard mowing, maintaining of signage, security, things of that nature we would be taking care of.
Just I'd like to thank Pasco County, Commissioner Starkey. She is such an advocate for trails and especially safety for trails. She calls me all the time and uh looking for ways to make the trail. Safer and so we're really fortunate to have someone like her to work with.
So it's an amazing trail and an amazing accomplishment. It's great for tourism, it's great for exercise, and it's great for economic development to have such a long, interesting trail available to people. I think people come from all around the world to ride this trail.
Hi, I'm Mary Beth Isaacson, Regional Branch Manager for Pasco County Libraries. I'm at Centennial Park Library where the remodel is quickly progressing. As you can see, much of the structural work has been completed with a new roof, new electrical and plumbing fixtures, and new interior walls that will create a more user-friendly space for our community. We will have expanded children's and teen spaces A welcoming lobby. Study rooms. and a studio arts makerspace,
loft. When you enter the library, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff at the information desk. We have added new self-service features for your convenience and safety, including self-checkout and self-pickup of holds. There's a comfortable seating area with plenty of room for relaxation and study, as well as a cafe area in the lobby. Of course, there will be plenty of books with the collection tailored to the community's interests. The children's room is much bigger now and will be separated from the rest of the library by glass windows
and doors. It'll be a great place to have story time for young readers and their families. The teens and tweens will have their own areas where they can hang out with their friends. Centennial Park is a neighborhood library very close to an elementary school, so we'll have plenty of activities for families and kids of all ages. Many of our programs will happen in the loft, our makerspace, which will offer a wide range of arts and crafts classes in addition to open hours for self-directed creativity. The loft also has an outdoor terrace where you can participate in a book
club or art class while enjoying the beautiful park outside the library. Watch for more videos to keep you up to date on how the Centennial Park Library is progressing. Thank you.

Well today's the grand opening and the ribbon cutting for the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Camp campus of Pasco County.

Well, this is a huge impact. Obviously, this is something we've been working on for a long time. And now we're putting our TDT dollars to use. And again, TDT dollars are paid for by visitors that come to our hotels. So this facility was built 100% with those TDT dollars from people that came from outside the area, not a dime from our local taxpayers here in Pasco County. So this hundred thousand square foot indoor facility is going to bring in youth sports from all over the nation, if not over the world, to come here on the weekends. And when they come here, they're gonna bring their families,
they're gonna bring their spectators, they're gonna shop in our stores, they're gonna eat in our restaurants, they're gonna buy our gas, they're gonna stay in our hotels. It's gonna be a huge economic impact for our local community and our citizens here in the county.
It allows us to really position the county as a major player in the sporting world.
So we're basically coming in and our number one mission is to create an economic impact for Pasco County through events and tourism and secondary to provide programs for the local community through basketball, soccer, cheer, and volleyball, and then some other sports that we can add in after that. Also creating an academic portion to make sure our kids are academically set.
To get through high school. It's really a community-based facility. So our kids are going to grow up here knowing that this place is home. One thing I love about the campus is it's it's multifaceted. So there's so many things that you can do here outside of just sports. Every event that comes through the building,
they feel like this facility was made for them. I'm super excited. You know, also being the chair of the Tourism Development Council. This is something that's been on my radar for some time. Just ecstatic that it's happening.
Hi, I'm Mary Beth Isaacson, Regional Branch Manager for Pasco County Libraries. Welcome to the Starkey Ranch Theater Library Cultural Center, currently under construction and scheduled to be completed in spring of 2021. Let's go in and take a look.
Now that the interior walls are up, you can really get a sense of the library's layout. The lobby will be the first space you enter with a cafe area and a green wall with living plants. It will be an inviting space with plenty of natural light from the skylights. The library will have comfortable seating areas for relaxing, studying, and working. There will also be a drive-up window and book return for your convenience and safety. We're very excited about the theater. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 250 and can be
set up theater style, banquet style, or classroom style. The stage is equipped with curtains, lights, and theater sound so it will be able to accommodate a wide range of performances. There are attached dressing rooms and a catering area. The enclosed courtyard also features an outdoor stage and presentation area. The library is on the same campus as Starkey Ranch K-8 School and will serve a dual purpose as the school's media center. The youth room is very large and will hold thousands of books, plus study rooms and other learning
areas, including a separate storytime room and a teen room. We look forward to having lots of kids in this space and there will be plenty of activities for students and families. Starkey Ranch will have three makerspaces. One makerspace is dedicated to ceramics with a kiln and two pottery wheels. The other two makerspaces will offer a wide range of equipment and activities, such as jewelry making, sewing and textile arts, and painting. The makerspaces will have both scheduled instructor-led classes and open hours when community
