What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

So hearing that there is no one here for public comment, we'll move on. Um

The for those who have not uh had the benefit of being at one of these meetings before. Let me read the uh procedures. They are as follows. The Planning Commission is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and Transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on the comprehensive plan. amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commissioner is the final decision making body for

special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition, to any development code amendment, rezoning conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting. And for those of you who are not familiar with the process We

have three categories of uh items on our agenda. We have Request for continuances. Which has been our custom to approve unless we have uh Yeah, exceptional circumstances. Uh we also have consent items. Where we have not received an objection from the staff or the public? And those items will b remain on consent. We'll go through them one at a time and If somebody would like to have something taken off consent for

Please uh let us know and we'll have it pulled from consent. When we get w when we finish with that list of consent items, we'll vote on the consent items one at a time that remain. And n are not one at a time, all at once, uh that remain. And then we have regular items. Those are the items here that are not continued and and uh and not on consent. So applicants will have three minutes to uh make their presentation. Um the questioners

or or people in the in the audience that would like to speak uh either for or against it will have three minutes to comment or ask their questions. And then the applicant will have five minutes to respond unless there has been a request for additional time and I think There has been a couple of requests for additional time, isn't that correct?

Denise

Yes, Mr. Chair. You have several requests for additional time. You have 10 minutes requests for additional time on item P5 that's been granted. You have 40 minutes additional time on item P7 that has been granted. You have 20 minutes of additional time on item P eight that has been granted. You have six minutes of additional time on item P six uh for Mr. Douglas Grant. You have 20 minutes of additional time for item P eight for Mr. Mike Lasala, and you have 15 minutes of additional time

for Craig Laporte on item uh P eight. And I'll definitely remind you as the items come up. Okay, thank

Charles GreyChair

you. We have somebody maintaining the time.

Denise

Charles GreyChair
