County administrator Team Appreciation Day and trade event
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

What was said
Machine transcription of 2m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 100% of 6 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
All right, thank you. I guess too I would like to just add on that Team Appreciation Day was a resounding success, and uh again I appreciate everyone coming out and supporting our our team members and appreciating the work that they do. Um just as a reminder for the board, I know we had a lot of public comments regarding flooding on February eighteenth. We will be having a workshop. The subject of that workshop was will be stormwater, uh flooding, and we we set that up as a as a result of the aftermath of the hurricanes uh to educate and to learn more
about what can be done from a policy perspective as a bit like those those issues here in Pasco County. That'll be advertised to the normal to the normal channels. And as I was talking with Mr. Cronin, one of the things that we we forgot to mention was that we are going to set celebrate International Trade and Tourism Day on February 20th. That's at 4:30 PM at the Starkey Market in Trinity. It's a great opportunity for tourism and trade partners. To
come together and it'll be um fifteen dollars per person. It's uh it's uh wonderful cause and event. Some of that money that gets raised uh actually helps to fund uh the exchange programs that we've done with our trade folks. We've done folks with animal services and utilities that have gone over to Germany and vice versa and those those those missions happen. So that's one forum by which that that's also.
All right. And I'll say um my my the my New Port Richey is a big player in that. Commissioner Starkey I think is gonna make a donation from her campaign to make sure it happens. So if there is a shortfall of funds, hopefully they'll step up and keep this program going to uh keep our relationships cross across the across the pond.
Yes, well drop.
Right. Thank you. Uh
