6:52Thank you. Okay, I'd like to welcome everybody today. We're the Planning Commission, and uh we're appointed by the County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners, uh recommendations on a comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, conditional use requests, and the planning commission is a file. Final decision making body for special exceptions, certain

7:22appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any recommendation that we make to the County Commission, it's support for you to attend the appropriate County Commission meeting. Those of you not familiar with the format of the meetings, uh they are as follows. We have three sections, continuances, consent, and regular items. Uh

7:53there are items on I don't believe we have any continuances today, do we?

8:00We do have one continuance item, Mr. Chairman.

8:02Okay. So we have continuances, we have consent and we have regular items. The uh it's been our custom to grant these continuances if they're requested by the staff or the applicant, unless they're extenuating circumstances, and we'll go through the consent items one at a time and that'll be vote be voted on all at once. There's something on consent you'd like to have heard or discussed or you want to get up and speak on it. When I read out the item, please raise your hand and we'll pull it from consent to go into the regular

8:32items and those items will all be uh talked about and voted on and discussed separately. Applicants will have three minutes to make their presentation and uh the objectors or audience will have three minutes to state their concerns and then they're the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and answer those concerns. There's been a request at least 24 hours in writing prior to this meeting for extra time. It may be granted subject to the approval of the chairman. For
