What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

All right, thank you very much. Hmm. For anybody who plans to give testimony today, um this would be a good time to stand, raise your right hand and and pledge. Repeat.

Do you swear or affirm the testimony you're about to give today as the truth to help you back?

GreyChair

Okay.

All right, good afternoon everyone. Um like to uh I start this time by explaining uh Our role as a planning commission, we uh serve as a local planning agency. The Planning Commission holds public hearings and transmits to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests.

Mm-hmm. However, a fine final decision may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any Comp Plan Amendment, land development count amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate. at uh Porter County Commission meeting. Those dates are available. T- And I don't think we have any minutes, right? No, that's

correct. Okay. Um We have uh

What we what we're gonna go through today is we're gonna go through c uh continuances uh consent agenda and regular items if a as they appear on the on the agenda. And I'll go we'll go through those items and then as we read them off, if there's anybody here that has an objection, uh please raise your hand and we'll take it off to be heard today. Otherwise Uh it'll stay on on consent, for example,

uh, or it will be continued and um you'll be advised of the of a f of a future date. Those things that remain on consent will be all uh voted on at one time and approved, and then if there are any regular items left on on the agenda, uh we'll those will all be open for discussion.
