2:34Alright. Um I'd like to welcome everybody today and uh to the uh Planning Commission meeting. Um we wanna uh square anybody that plans to give testimony today, so If you plan to speak today, you please st ra stand up and raise your right hand and be sworn.

3:06Thank you. Again, welcome. Uh we're the Planning Commissioner. We meet uh Twice monthly and uh we serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing to transmit recommendations to the Board County Commissioners on the comprehensive plan amendment amendments, land uh development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However Final

3:37decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone in one here is in opposition to any uh comprehensive development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. For those of you who are not familiar with the procedures here, we have really three sections. Typically, one is for continuances,

4:08where the staff or the applicant has asked for continuance for any number of reasons, and it's been our tradition to approve those continuances unless there are extenuating circumstances. Answers. We have a consent agenda and those are applications where the staff has not objected and we have not received objections from the public, um, either verbal or written, and those items will be gone through one at a time. There's anything on consent agenda today. that

4:38someone here would like to have heard as we read it off, then please raise your hand. We'll have a poll for can for consideration. And it'll go on to the regular agenda, which that's the third section for items that are not continued and not on the con on the uh consent agenda. Applicants will have three minutes to uh make their presentation and the uh ki questioners or our objectors will have three minutes to state their concerns

5:09and then the applicant will have a time to come up and respond to those concerns. Um if there has been a request for extra time, at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting in writing, um that time may be granted or some version of it may be granted. The uh this is the good time for anyone who has a phone in your pocket to put it on the silent position so you won't interrupt anybody that's speaking. And

5:41uh also uh this is a time for anyone who may be here to talk about something is not on the agenda. Yeah.
