What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Okay, I'd like to welcome everybody to the Planning Committee meeting of uh March seventeenth. Um Twenty twenty two. Uh we're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. We meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners. Recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance

requests and certain alternative standard requests. However, Uh final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. And we have those dates available for anybody who needs to know when they are. If anyone is in opposition to any uh comprehensive plan amendment, land development code amendment. Uh rezoning, conditional use or any item where The Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. It's appropriate it's important for you

to attend the appropriate county commission meeting. Those of you not familiar with the uh format of our meetings. Uh we have three sections, we have continuances. I and w where the staff or the applicant has requested continue it's it's been our custom to approve those requests unless there are extenuating circumstances. We have a consent agenda and those are the items that We will read through one at a time and we've not received any objections or staff requests

for other issues and uh we will go through those and as we read them off if there's something on consent that you'd like to have heard. Raise your hand and we'll pull it off consent and we'll put it on to the regular items. Which is the f the uh third section and those are the items that are uh planned to be heard today and um by the applicant and by the respondents. Applicants will have three minutes to make their presentation. And since we have so many we'll be paying paying close attention

to the time. And uh the res the um Objectors will have uh three minutes to state their concerns. And then following any presentation uh of objections or concerns or questions. The applicant will have five minutes to respond. There's been a request to um for extra time, at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting in writing, uh such extra time may be granted and I think we do have a few of those.

Denise

Mr. Chair, we do we do have a request for additional time from Mr. Mark Jeske. That's for five minutes. And we do have a request for 15 minutes of time for Clark Hobby's team for item P4 and the other clear vote for items item P4.
