Okay, I'd like to welcome everybody today. We are the Pasco County Planning Commission and uh appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings to transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests.
And certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition, To any development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, be important for you to attend the important follow-up meeting at the Board of County Commissioners. And we have those dates available if you have any questions.
For those of you who are not familiar with the the uh pattern of our meetings, we have three sections. We have uh continuances, and those are items where the staff or the applicant has requested a continuance for any number of reasons. Uh it's been our tradition to approve those requests for continuance unless there are extenuating circumstances. Uh we then have consent and those are items where we have not received any uh complaints or questions from the staff or the public. Um
those items will be gone through uh uh one at a time but w will be voted on all together once we go through there if We read the uh anything on consent that we read it that we read. Um if you have questions about it. Raise your hand we'll be glad to pull it off consent for discussion on to the regular items and that's the last group. The uh the regular items will be discussed discussed and um the applicants will have an opportunity to make their presentation and the people
in the audience will have a chance to ask questions. Um
The uh applicant and the aud and the uh questionnaires will be limited to three minutes per person and then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back and respond to any questions that may have been offered. Yeah. Mm.
