Moment of silence, pledge, and roll call
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.
The source document
The county’s agenda for Planning Commission, Nov 4, 2021
The published PDF. Its text could not be extracted — it is an image-only scan — so nothing in it is searchable here, but it reads normally.
The county’s minutes for Planning Commission, Nov 4, 2021
The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.
What was said
Machine transcription of 16m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 83% of 30 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
Yeah.
Are you okay?
Oh yeah.
School business comes like right down my screen.
How
many
review on it? Okay.
Can you like to call them in the order, please? Is that right?
Thank you. So we'll stand for a moment of silence and a pledge of allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the
flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for
all.
All right, Madam Secretary, could you do the roll call, please?
Jamie Girardi? Don Anderson.

Peter Hansel. Roberto size.
Christopher Poole. Richard Tonello representing Chris Williams.
Here.
Chairman Charles Spring.

The items were advertised in the Tampa Bay Times on august twenty fifth, twenty twenty one, October thirteenth, twenty twenty one, and october twentieth, twenty twenty one.
Okay, thank you.
All right, I don't we don't have any minutes to approve. So um at this time if anybody plans to come up and speak or give testimony, if you would please stand and raise your right hand and be sworn.
All right. Thank you very much.
And I'd like to welcome you and uh give you some little bit of information before we start. The Planning Commissioner is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations. On comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, land development land rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision-making
body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, the final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. So if anyone is in opposition to any development code amendment, rezoning, conditioning use, or any item or the planning commission. transmits your recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the po uh the appropriate 48 Board of County
Commissioners. And for for those of you who are not familiar with the format of the meeting, we have three sections. One is the first one is for continuances. It's in our custom to approve continuances, usually from the by requested by the staff or the applicant, unless they're extenuating circumstances. We have consent agenda items. Those are items where we have not received any letters of objection from the public or from the staff. And they are placed on consent agenda. And
we'll uh read those uh independently, but uh unless you raise your hand and ask one to be pulled. Well they'll stay on consent and we'll vote on them at one time and prove them. And then we'll have regular items. Those are the items that are not continued or not on consent and uh or ones that were on consent and pulled. And we'll we'll go through those item by item. So the applicants will have uh three minutes to
make their presentation, objectors will have three minutes to State their concerns unless we've had requests for extra time in writing at least 24 hours prior to this meeting. I think we've had two of those. Is that right? That's correct, Mr. Chairman. So
For any anyone who happens to have their cell phone in their possession, which includes me, this would be a good time to uh make sure it's in a silent position so we don't interrupt anybody that Maybe speaking.
