Lot trees in townhome duplex block requirements

2:06:06Uh it it's essentially the same issue that we've come up with. Uh when you come to a townhome property, you have a number of areas that are uh driveway spaces that obviously you don't plant on, uh and then other spaces that are related to utility lines, service lines, soft utilities, hard utilities, everything else going to those units. and working through those units. And that creates some issues for roots and other things. So there are going to be situations where you will need some other form of tree or some other

2:06:36form of landscaping in certain areas.

2:06:38Well should we have a little bit more than that? I mean but this lets everybody who may not have those situations get away with just putting a little bush and and no trees. I mean 'cause a Lugustum tree can be f five feet, six feet high or something. And um and on the palm tree Do we it's not three to one, it's just one? So

2:06:59we can uh do you want to Talk about going back and looking at this some more. Yeah. I think we're gonna get abused. That's all. Not more specific. We did talk in another situation on a on a on a on a different section of code about having a height minimum. Yes, we did.

2:07:23Of this. But you know, it would be whatever ends up in code can be addressed through an alt standard uh to deal with that. So if we are too restrictive and and something that the projects can't do, they would need to be doing an alternative standard to request deviation. We are actually trying to avoid that uh because of the the work for something that we generally need to allow anyway. Um so it was kind of uh six of one half dozen the other, which direction we went.
