All right. So um I'm gonna go through the procedures that we follow, but uh before we do it. Um I'd like to take a moment and ask anyone who plans to give testimony today. To stand, raise your right hand and be sworn, please.

I'd like to welcome everybody today. We're the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the County Commissioners. We meet twice a month. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold uh public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, Land Development Code amendments. rezoning and conditional use requests. Planning the Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals. Variance requests, certain alternative standard requests, how or final

decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition to any development code amendment? rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. It's important for you to attend the Board of County Commissioners meeting. We have those dates available if you don't know what they are. Uh for those of you who aren't not familiar with the content of our meetings We have three sections. continuances, consent, and

regular items. It's been our custom to grant uh continuances where it's been requested by the staff or the applicant. uh unless there are extenuating circumstances. But then we'll go through the consent items one at a time. If you Hear something read off on consent. And uh You'd like to have it discussed today, raise your hand and we'll pull it from consent. for discussion today. Um The items that are on consent are there because we haven't received any objection

from anybody in the in the community. Uh to this date. Then we have the regular items and those are the items that will be fully heard and discussed today. The applicants will Come up and make their presentation, I'll have uh Three minutes to make their presentation and then the respondents or the questioners will have Three minutes to ask their questions. Um once the questions are asked then the applicant will have uh five minutes to respond to those questions unless we extend it for some reason. Um

If anybody has uh requested additional time, at least twenty four hours. prior to this meeting in writing, uh it may be gran they may be granted extra time. Although I'm not ad aware of any that have requested extra time.

So for uh anybody who's in the audience today, if you have a a phone or anything that makes a noise, please put it on the silent position. Before we get started, so you don't interrupt anyone.

And we would like to ask you to direct any Comments or questions you have to the board directly or to the per rather than to the person? and uh we'll try to make sure that um we get your answers for you. And before we start the meeting, is there anybody here that that's uh Uh wants to speak on something and it's not on today's agenda.
