TCO rate case and fire rescue accreditation
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

What was said
Machine transcription of 1m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 100% of 9 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
All right, Mr. Biles.
Uh thank you, Mr. Chairman Mariano. I gave you my one of the good news items earlier on the KESC accredit for fire rescue. That's a pretty big deal. Uh kind of puts us in the top tier, if you will, nationally on the rescue side. So you'll start seeing those sickers show up on the on the vehicles out there. I do need to ask the board's permission or to grant me the authority to intervene in the Tico Rate case, if deemed necessary, and to allow the county attorney and army to spend up to $25,000, or the county attorney to spend up
to $25,000 and help outside council to support that effort. the there's not a the rate case is going to the PUC uh later in July so or actually early August so we need to file before then. So I would like the board to give me the authority to intervene in the TCO rate case.
So moved. Okay, got a motion?
Second.
Second. All those in favor say aye. Aye.
Aye.
Motion passed five zero.
And that's all I have, sir.
