Okay, well I'd like to welcome everybody today and um So, uh let's begin with uh the swearing in. If anybody plans to give testimony today, will you please uh stand and raise your right hand?

Okay, so I'd like to welcome everyone and uh tell you that we're the Planning Commissioner Weight appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. Um, is there anybody here that has not attended a meeting like this before? One person with it. Okay. Well then briefly I'll try to go over it what this what we typically do so you'll understand the format of the meeting. Um
We serve as the local planning agency. And we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standards. request. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone's in opposition
to any land development code amendment rezoning. conditional use or any item where the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the County Commission, it'd be in important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. Those of you who are not familiar with the format, we have three sections, continuances, consent items, and regular items. We'll go through the uh Uh each of those uh continuance then consent than regular
and we'll give uh any everybody that's here that wants to speak a chance to speak and anybody that's concerned about any of the applications and a chance to uh ask questions and and get get some response. Applicants will be given five minutes to make a presentation if they wish, and uh questioners will have three minutes to ask their questions and then the applicant can come up and respond to those questions.
Uh this would be an appropriate time to just tell everyone who has a phone, please put it in the silent position if you don't haven't already, so that uh it won't interrupt someone trying to make a presentation. And um So before we start the meeting, um, is there anybody here to speak on an item that's not on today's agenda?
