Call to order swear pledge and roll call
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

So for those of you who have not attended a meeting. of the Planning Commission, uh I'll give you a brief outline of how the machine how the meeting proceeds. Planning commission is appointed by the uh the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing. and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on the comprehensive plan amendments. Land Development Code Amendments. Resonance and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is
the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance, requests. and certain alternative standard requests. However, the final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting. For those of you who are not familiar
with the meeting. We have uh several categories of items that we're gonna go over. Well we will have uh items that will be where the staff or the applicant is asking for. Continuance. It's been our custom to approve requests for Kinsha tenuance unless there are Extenuating circumstances. We have consent items and those are the items where we have not received any objections from staff or the public.
And we'll go through those one at a time. And if there's anybody who is present that would like that those items to be pulled from consent. Uh please let us know. We will pull them for uh from consent. For discussion. And then we have the regular items. Those are the items that are not either uh continued or on consent. Yeah, and we will go through those items. Um as they come up. Applicants will
have three minutes. uh to make their presentation and objectors will have three minutes to state their concerns. Following the presentation. Ha ha ha. Uh if there's been a request for for extra time, at least twenty four hours. In writing before this meeting, su such time may be granted, it may not be granted. Uh depend it depends on the circumstances. Um I don't believe we have any requests. Is that correct, Denise?
No requests for 10, for additional time.
Okay. And I think I mentioned before, please, if you have anything that makes a noise, please silence. For example, for your funds. And I guess I better check my own.
Yeah.
Okay.
