But we have any minutes to approve, so If not, we'll move toward for our instructions today. We're the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. And we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners. Recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions. Yeah.
variance requests and certain alternative standard requests. However, final uh decisions may be appealed. to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition? To any land development code amendments, rezoning, conditional use? or any item where the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners It's important for you to attend the Board of County Commissioners meeting.
Those of you who are not familiar with the format of our meetings. meetings. It's divided into three sections: continuances, consent and regular items. If uh there's been a request for continuance by an applicant or the staff It's been our tradition to uh Approve those requests unless they're extenuating circumstances. We're gonna on the consent, we're gonna go through the consent items one at a time. If there's something on consent that somebody in
the audience would like to have polled for discussion. Raise your hand when we uh Call it out. And we'll be glad to pull it for discussion. And then it'll go on to the regular items. Regular items or things that'll be fully heard and vetted today by the applicant and the uh and people that are here with questions. Applicants will have three minutes to uh make their presentation. And questioners will be able to do that. We'll have three minutes to ask their questions and then the applicant will have an opportunity
to come back up and uh and answer any of those questions. Um
Normally if there's been a a w written request at least twenty-four hours prior to this meeting for additional time. Uh it's been our uh tradition to uh approve or at least approve a modified request. For additional time and I don't I'm not aware of any correct requests. We did not receive any requests. Okay.
