On March twelfth, twenty twenty, the Board of County Commissioners declared a local state of emergency after the governor issued Executive Orders 2051, the public health emergency. emergency and twenty fifty two, the state of emergency. related to COVID nineteen. Which has recently been extended by Executive Order 2145 on February 26, 2021. The board has chosen to hold it. its
board meeting with a quorum physically present utilizing communications media technology for the public and team members to participate. A detailed notice indicating the Board's intent to conduct a hybrid virtual meeting has been posted on the Board's website. On September 25th, 2020, the governor issued Executive Order 2244, moving the state into phase three of the governor's safe, smart, step-by-step order, which was extended by Executive Order 2044. two

Large gatherings of over fifty people is still not recommended to c congregate in any public space that does not readily allow for appropriate social distancing. State's Surgeon General public health advisory is still in place with regard to maintaining social distancing and avoiding gatherings of of ten or more people.
