Pledge of allegiance and roll call

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Um So Uh for those of you who haven't been here before, I want to go through briefly the uh uh how we operate in terms of uh what we do and And What we're gonna listen to today. So we're the Planning Commissioner Weight appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing And transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments,

land development code amendments. rezons and conditional use requests. The Plan Planning Commission is the final decision making body. for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone's in opposition to any Development goat amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item. where the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners.

It'd be important for you to attend that board of county commissioner meeting. You'll have a second opportunity to voice your concerns. Those of you who are not familiar with the format Well there it's divided into three sections. We have c typically we have continuances for requests. Um it's been our custom that uh If a request comes from the s staff or from uh the applicant. Uh unless there are extenuating circumstances, would t can we would grant those requests? Um we

have consent items. Those are items that are on our agenda that we have not had any objections from the public or the staff. Yeah, we'll go through those one at a time. If there's one that we raise that you wanna have talked about When we announce it, uh just raise your hand and we'll pull it from consent and put it on the regular items. And the third item is the regular items and those were Will be th things will be vetted. uh thoroughly today. You'll ha all have a chance to get up and speak or

ask questions. Applicants will have uh five minutes to uh make their presentation. And questioners will have three minutes to get up and State their concerns and then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and answer those concerns. Um This is a uh a time too now when before we get started that we uh Ask for public comment on anything it is not on. Today's agenda. Is there anybody here to speak on anything that's not

on today's agenda?

Jon Moody

Excuse me, Mr. Chair, I would like to note that we have nobody signed up to speak for general public comment today or on WebEx as well.

Charles GreyChair

Thank you very much. Appreciate that. Um so this is a good opportunity f before we start, if anybody has a cell phone. Including me, we We'll put her on the silent position. So that we won't disturb somebody that's up here speaking. And it's important for The public to uh wait their turn to speak. You'll be called up, you'll be asked to state your your name and address. uh and into the microphone so that the uh recor recording secretary

can get that information and um Then w you'll be given the the time. I believe we ha is the timer working? Is it is our timer working? Okay, great. Thank you. Um

So anybody who's planning to speak today, what we call give testimony today, would if you would please stand and raise your right hand and be sworn.

Anybody that's gonna speak, okay.

Unidentified speakerVoice A
