What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Okay. County Administrator.

Mike Carballa

Thank you, Mr. Chairman just a couple of items. Uh first and foremost, I wanted to recognize our fleet department. There's an organization of national fleet management professionals, the world's largest not-for-profit organization for professionals who manage vehicle fleets. I'm happy to say that uh our fleet department was recognized in as one of the top 100 best fleets in America contests. So for North, Central, and South America. Number 38, actually, I think, on that list. So

it just again, it recognizes the good practices that our fleet department utilizes, our ability to keep costs down and maintain reliability and operational effectiveness in our fleet. The other thing I wanted to mention is on April 24th at 4 p.m., I don't know if this is on your calendars or not, but I would like to invite you to Starkey Wilderness Park for a Tree of Life Memorial Program. In 2025, we lost 16 members and for

various reasons, but to honor their legacy and their memories, we will be um holding a memorial ceremony where we'd like to institute a new tradition of having a paver placed in their memory at County Park. And so that'll be at 4 PM in Starkey Wilderness Park. It's just a memorial to those 4 PM on April 24th. That is Friday. Yes. And um that's all I have.
