All right, well I'd like to welcome everybody today. We're uh the Planning Commissioner We're appointed by the county commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners Recommendations on the comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests.
However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition? Twenty land development code amendment. presoning conditional use or any item where the Planning Commission makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it'll be important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. For those of you who are not familiar with the format of our meetings, we have three sections continuances, consent, and regular items. We'll go
through them one at a time and It's our custom to if there's been a request from the applicant or from the staff for continuance to grant their request. unless there are unusual circumstances. The consent items. We will go through one at a time. as we go through consent, if there's something on consent you'd like to have heard. Uh please raise your hand. We'll pull it from consent for to go into the regular items. Uh once we go through consent, any items that remain on consent will be voted on at
one time. Uh regular items will be gone through individually. And uh
anyone to ask questions and to for the applicant to make a presentation.
Uh five minutes.
And anybody who has questions about that application We'll have three minutes to make Make a question's known. And then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and try to respond appropriately to those questions. Um We also have uh Time for public comment.
So if there's anybody here that uh
uh is is here to speak about anything not on today's agenda, please let us know and we'll Half we'll listen to your uh concerns. Um before we get started.
