Starkey Gap Trail ribbon cutting November

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

I think Commissioner Starkey wanted me to come up to Uh bring up the um Ribbon cutting we're having for the Starkey Gap Trail. on November thirteenth. It's turning out to be a big event. Where We will have the ribbon cutting at the trail. We have former president of the Senate, Andy Gardner, who had the vision for the Coast to Coast Trail, which is a 250-mile trail from Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County. going over to

the Space Coast. So we have a continuous trail now. uh with the completion there are still about fifty miles worth of gaps around the state but that's a big event uh that we are looking forward to to having um And uh a lot of dignitaries will be in town from uh Tallahassee for that. So we're looking forward to that. So we hope you can come out to that on November
