What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

All right. Thank you very much. I don't believe we have any minutes for approval. So um We'll move on with the instructions. And uh I I take a moment here to for those of you who have not attended one of our meetings. Um just to familiarize you with the process where the planning commission. We're appointed by the uh Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners. Recommendations

on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals. variance requests and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition to any uh comprehensive plan amendments? Land Development Code amendment, rezoning. conditional use or any item where the Planning

Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to pr to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. And for uh those of you who are not familiar with the procedures uh we have Three segments. We have continuances. for any anyone who uh has made an application if they've asked for a continuance or for in the case the staff has asked for a continuance for a number any number of reasons. It's been our uh

tradition to grant those continuances unless there are extenuating circumstances. that cannot be addressed. Uh we have consent items and those are items where we have not received any objections. to an application. and uh and it has been uh rec recommended for approval by staff. That'll be on the consent agenda. We will go through the consent agenda item by item basis. If there's anything on consent agenda that Uh, you wish to be heard? Raise

your hand and we'll pull it off consent agenda and have it for discussion with the regular items, which is the final uh group. Uh those are the items that are not being continued and not on consent. Uh those will be heard today. Uh Yeah, but in full. Applicants will have three minutes to speak. And uh Objectors will have three minutes uh to ask questions. And following the presentation, uh of objections

or concerns, the applicant will have an opportunity to respond or rebut. I think we've had um One request for additional time from the applicant, have we not?

Denise

That's correct, Mr. Chair. That's for item P5.

Charles GreyChair

P five, okay. I think that was for ten minutes. Okay. So because a requirement that uh if you want extra time you have to request it in writing at least twenty-four hours. Prior to the meeting. Um so for those of you who have not done so, this is a great time to silence your phones. 'Cause you probably have your phones with you and I don't know if you put 'em on silent or not. I better check my own.
