So I'd like to welcome everybody today. The Planning Commission is appointed by the County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning and conditional use. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, the final decisions
may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition, To any development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, uh, it's important that you attend the appropriate Board of County Commission meeting. Those of you who are not familiar with the uh format of our meetings they are as follows. We have three categories. First one being continuances.
And that's where the staff or the applicant has asked for continuance for any number of reasons. It's been our tradition to grant those continuances unless there are extenuating circumstances. We have a consent agenda and that's where um We go through the items uh one at a time and where we have not received any uh objections from the public or from the staff. If uh there aren't any questions raised during the time that we go through those items, they'll remain
on consent. Otherwise if once I read them uh off, if you have a a concern or you'd like to discuss it, raise your hand. I'll pull it from consent and we'll discuss it today. And then we have regular items. Those are the items that are not continued and not on consent. And those those items will be fully vetted today. Applicants will have three minutes to make their presentation and the respondents will have three minutes to ask their questions. And then the applicant will have time to uh
answer those questions or uh do their rebuttal. Uh I don't believe there's been any additional time requested. Has there been
