call meeting order pledge roll call approve minutes
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Okay, I'd like to welcome everyone today. This is a Planning Commission. We're appointed by the County Commissioners. We meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners. Recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments. Land Development Code amendments. Resoning and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals. variance requests and certain alternative standard requests. Our final decisions
may be appealed. To the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any uh Land Development Code Amendment, rezoning. conditional use or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners Uh it's important for you to attend the appropriate county commission meeting. Those of you not familiar with the format of our meetings. Uh they are as follows. We have uh Three areas. One is the continuances. And it's been
our custom to approve a continuance if it's uh requested by the applicant. Or the staff Unless they're uh uh e extenuating circumstances. And And we have consent items. Those items are on consent because we've not received any Letters of objection or notifications from um Anyone in in the public or from the staff? And uh those items will remain on consent once we go through the consent items. If you hear something on consent that you'd like to
have heard today. Yeah, raise your hand, make yourself known and we'll pull firm consent. Uh for discussion. And then we have the regular items. Those are the items that are not. Uh being continued or or not on consent. And we'll go through those items today. Applicants uh typically would have three minutes. uh to make a presentation and uh responders would have three minutes uh to ask their questions. And then following
uh the questions then the re the applicant will have an opportunity to uh Come back up and answer any questions that were developed. Mm.
If there is a quest uh at least twenty four hours before this meeting for extra time. Uh and it and it must be in writing. uh the uh extra time may be uh Granted. Not mandatory, but it may be granted. I believe we have one request.
Yes, Mr. Chairman, we do have a request. It's for um item P twelve, P D D 217531, Horner Property MPV.
All right, thank you. And I think I've already given permission for that. Yeah. Okay. So um before we go any further, if you have a a phone on you This would be a great time to Put it on the silent position or turn it off. So we don't interrupt anyone before we start at the regular meeting. Uh we want to open the meeting for anything that someone's here to speak on that is not on the agenda today? Do we have have anybody that wants to speak on something not
on the agenda?
I see no one.
So what we want to do is uh anyone who does plan to speak today Please stand and raise your right hand and be sworn.
Do you swear or affirm the testimony you're about to give today is the truth, so help you God.
Yeah.
All right, thank you.
Okay, Ms. Denise, I guess we're ready.
