What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

This archive found it in the recording: a call to order, a recess, or business the board never listed. The county recorded nothing about it, so everything below is our reading.

The source document

Published agenda

The county’s agenda for Planning Commission, Nov 19, 2020

The published PDF. Its text could not be extracted, because it is an image-only scan, so nothing in it is searchable here. It still reads normally.

Approved minutes

The county’s minutes for Planning Commission, Nov 19, 2020

The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.

What was said

So we're good. We're ready, Denise? We're ready.

Good afternoon everyone. I'd like to call to order The hybrid virtual planning commission meeting of November nineteenth, twenty twenty. I would like to remind everyone to please silence all electronic devices and for those who are attending virtually please mute your microphones while not speaking. At this time I would like to ask you all to please rise for a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Madam Clerk, can you please call a roll?

Clerk

All right. The Planning Commission is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. We meet twice a month. The Planning Commission serves as the local planning agency. The Planning Commission holds public hearing and transmits to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments. Land Development Code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, Certain appeals. variance requests, and

certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, land development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, It is important that you attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting.

Looks like we have uh one set of meeting minutes to approve.

I believe.

Chris Williams

That's correct.
