1:55:29Eric Breitenbach, Assistant County Administrator for Internal Services. Um I'm here today to ask the board support in confirming Miss Amy Farrell as the next director of the Office of Management and Budget for the County. Uh as you all know, and I think Commissioner Starkey remarked earlier, Mr. Bob Gorig, the previous budget director, decided to retire earlier this year.

1:55:50Decided to stay along so that he or stay on until we had somebody in place so that he could do contact relief. Um after going through the interview process, myself and several members of the team uh interviewed a uh many candidates and it turns out we didn't have to look very far and that Bob's contact turnover won't be necessarily need to be very long. As the best candidate turned out to be somebody that we had in-house, Amy Farrell. She's uh she's She's been in the budget office for nearly seven years and has a lot of experience from the ground up with budgeting. More

1:56:21importantly, Uh she shares the county's core values, the county's vision, and I've personally observed over the last several years her solid leadership skills and I'm confident she's the right person to lead the office going forward and I and I strongly recommend the board confirm her today.
