So we're the uh planning commission, we're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet uh twice monthly. We serve as the local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments. rezoning and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions. Certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed.

If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, uh Land Development Code Amendment rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. it's important that you attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners We have those dates available for those who need to do that. Um for those of you who are not familiar with the format. Uh we have um uh
set this up so that we have c continuances that we need to listen to. There may be uh requests from the applicant or from the staff for continuances on a number of uh of items. It's been our tradition to approve those continuances unless there are extenuating circumstances. We also have withdrawals. And we have can the consent agenda. Consent agenda is wherever we have items that are listed on the consent agenda, we'll go through those one at a time. If there's something that's on consent, that
you'd like to have pulled and heard, then raise your hand. We'll pull it, discuss it, and uh give you an opportunity to to ask your questions and uh And then we will uh vote on the remaining consent items at one time to approve. Um the following uh the other items that are pulled will go on the regular agenda and those items will be heard. um separately and voted on separately. Um There's
many any requests for additional time, at least twenty four hours. Prior to this meeting in writing. Additional time may be granted. Uh some subject to approval. And I think we have one request. Is that correct?
