Commissioner Weightman on Magnolia Valley stormwater cooperation

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Thank you, ma'am. Commissioner Oakley. Oh I'm sorry. I I'm looking to my left. I'm sorry, Commissioner Weightman.

Wells

Sorry I'm not there, but we would not do social distancing, so

And just just to address Commissioner Starkey's um comment about Magnolia Valley, um Keith Wiley is very engaged. With Mike Carbala's team and the engineers um with Magnolia Valley. Um, I absolutely agree with what you were saying. I absolutely agree with the concept in Tallahassee. I've been there. I think it'd be great. But yes, Keith is engaged there. That's that's the plan. Um so thank you for bringing that up. But yeah, Keith, Keith, like I said, if anything, he's probably too engaged, but that's a

good thing because we should all be on the same page, every department. with any stormwater project. So Thank you for bringing that up. Um I got a couple of things I have to reinstate. Uh Gail.

Starkey

Can I can I can I talk to you about your comment that you just made? Just 'cause I've been working with Keith on this and I know that Keith is very uh supportive of this idea, but I think it would be wonderful if the commissioner spoke up that they think utilities and parks should move together in this kind of direction.

County Administrator

They they are

Wells

They are. They absolutely are.

Starkey

Uh

Wells

just this But they absolutely are. Um I talked to Keith and Mike on this monthly.

Starkey

Okay, well we'll talk off off the line. Okay.
