Court back to full service

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Thank you, sir. Madam Clerk.

Yes, I just wanted to uh make a comment about um court uh coming uh back to full service. The Supreme Court issued an administrative order last week describing four phases of court. And we are currently in phase one in Pasco County. I've met with Judge Rondolino and a group of other elected officials in the justice system to talk about how to bring Pasco and Pinellas in our circuit.

Back to full court. And there are two work groups: one in Dade City, led by Judge Sestack, and one in Newport Ritchie, led by Judge Crane. We have representatives on those work groups, and you have a representative as well on the work group, Andrew Baxter, who's doing a great job representing the county on that on that work group. And we are in the process of looking to see how we can go from phase one to phase two, but as of now phase one is in place and it is for uh emergency matters

at this time so it is basically a status quo. Um and court will hopefully presume soon with the recommendations from the work group.
