What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

I'd like to call I mean the order place.

So we could start by standing for a moment of silence in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of

Connected City

the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, liberty and justice for all.

minutes. Second. Okay, motion and second. Any further discussion? Not all in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. Oppose, like, sign. Approved.

Yeah, I think we can begin. Um I'd like to welcome everybody today with the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the uh Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional uses. The Planning Commission is the

final decision making body for special exceptions.

Certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However Uh decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any land development code amendment. A rezoning, uh conditional use or any item where the planning commissioner makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. So for those of you who aren't familiar with the meetings, we have three sections

that we deal with. These there may be requests for continuances from the uh from the applicant or from uh the staff. If so, it's been our custom to approve those continuances unless there are ex extenuating circumstances. Then we have consent items that we'll go through those items. If you hear something read out on consent and you'd like to have it heard today or discussed, raise your hand. We'll pull it from consent and put it on with the regular

items and we'll uh go through the regular items and uh uh have opportunities for presentations and discussions and questions. Ac applicants will have five minutes to make their presentation and uh the questioners will have three minutes to Uh bring up their concerns. And then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and respond to those concerns. Um We also um Have a

public comment uh period if there's anyone here that wanted to speak on something that's not on today's agenda. This would be the time to let us know so we'll give you an opportunity to speak. Um and is there anybody requesting additional time today? Okay. Uh just a reminder to please if you have your cell phone with you, please put it in the silent position so that it doesn't go off when

somebody's trying to speak. And um

So if you're planning to give testimony today, if you're planning to come up and speak, I'd like you to please stand and raise your right hand and be sworn.

Barbara

Give that on the gap.

GreyChair

Okay, I think one we got one late, but I think it's I think it's stuck. Is that right?

Okay. If we're ready.
